Encaustic ceramic sculptures are painted with a "wax" medium.

The paints are made from pharmaceutical-grade beeswax, Damar resin, and pigments.

Each piece is fired to cone 04 and then treated with several layers of the wax medium creating rich texture and color.

Pieces maintain their luminosity by buffing with a soft cotton cloth.

These pieces are one-of-a-kind.
